Christian community is the means by which God builds his church. As a community of believers we are called to serve one another and build each other up in love and toward Christ-likeness.
At Aquila Theological Institute, we recognize that living in community is essential, but it can often be challenging. However, the Gospel provides the means for true community and unity with one another. We included the Community Learning Outcome in the Church Planting Apprenticeship Program because a biblical understanding of community is foundational in spiritual leadership and church planting. In the video below, Zack Carlens further explains the importance of Christian community and how this Learning Outcome equips an apprentice to develop and lead within a community.
